DescriptionThe Board of Trustees is in charge of the physical building of the church and oversees many of the monetary funds. Each year, the lay leadership committee nominates three new people to join the board for a three-year tenure. The Board elects its own president and other officers every January. The Board of Trustees is a required committee of the UM Book of Discipline.

DescriptionThe Finance Committee sets the budget for the church, oversees the stewardship drive and works in conjunction with the Board of Trustees for any capital fund drive. Each year, the lay leadership committee nominates three new people to join the Finance Committee for a three-year tenure. The lay leadership committee also selects the chairperson of the Committee. The Finance Committee is a required committee of the UM Book of Discipline.

Read That! Society Book Club

DescriptionThis club is a fellowship time for women to gather and discuss a book chosen by someone attending the previous month. The women read a wide variety of books, with only two rules – no self-help books and no religious books. These evenings are a nice way for women to broaden their social network and learn different perspectives on 12 books per year.
