Excellent Parking  Our large parking lot off Norwich Street is just outside the main entrance and includes handicap-accessible spots near the door.


Greeting at the Door  On Sunday mornings, our greeters will be there to welcome and direct you!  Coffee is available near the entrance.


Worship Bulletin  Our clear listing will guide you through the service step-by-step.


Open Communion  Communion is held monthly, usually on the first Sunday, and is open to all.


Child-Friendly  Children are welcome in the sanctuary. Childcare is  also available during worship. Our children's message is near the beginning of the 10:30 am service. After this, children leave for Sunday School or remain in Worship with parents. Your child may use the kids clipboards available on the back row.


Follow-up  At each service, there will be an opportunity for you to let us know who you are. Please provide your contact info so we can help you connect with Wesley!


Dress Comfortably  People come dressed in jeans and sneakers, skirts or pants, or coats and ties and shorts in summer.

UMW Martha Circle will meet on April 16 at 1 p.m. in the Parlor. We will be putting together school kits to donate. Don't forget to bring supplies if you took a bag to fill. See Nancy Fransen for more information.


UMW District Meeting on Saturday May 5 is a field trip to Warner. Meet at The Foothills Restaurant at 9:45 a.m. and then visit Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum. Short meeting afterward. See Julie Runnells to make a reservation. Ingathering: girls underwear sizes 10-16 for Days for Girls.


American Red Cross blood drive in Hanna Hall on Sat. Apr. 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 


Read That! Society Book Club will be meeting Monday April 16 at 7 p.m. in the chapel. We will be discussing "Dispatches from Pluto: Lost and Found in the Mississippi Delta" by Richard Grant. New members are always welcome!


ABBOT-DOWNING TEAM will be collecting the following during March: cereal (bags preferred), canned pasta meals, and soups for the End 68 Hours of Hunger program. No glass jars, please. This important program is currently serving 20 children each weekend.  


YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL - no sunday school on Easter - Regular age-grouped Sunday School classes for kids and teens begin at 10:30 am. Many kids and teens join the Gathering Time in the Sanctuary at 10:15 and then are dismissed to their classrooms just after 10:30 (after Children's Time).  


ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL - no sunday school on easter - Meets 9 am on Sundays in the Parlor. Currently working on the GOSPEL OF JOHN. The class requires no outside reading! We read aloud in class and engage in discussion guided by teacher, Byron Champlin.



VOLUNTEER REQUEST  The Housing First program of the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness seeks volunteers to drive clients to shop at the grocery store or food pantry. For more info or to volunteer, contact Angela Spinney at angela@concordhomeless.org or 603-290-3375.


Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 years - 6th grade will be July 9-13 from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration will begin in May. This year's theme is "Rolling River Rampage" where campers "Experience the ride of a Lifetime with God!" Please contact Misty Griffith at misty@concordwumc.org to volunteer.


SPORTS GEAR  Bob and Mary Ann Wolfe continue to collect gently used outdoor soccer shoes, shin guards and long sleeved jerseys/fleeces for Concord's New American population. If you have anything to share, please drop off at Wesley.


BOX TOPS  Abbot-Downing School appreciates the Box Tops! Keep 'em coming! You can cut them off labels of many boxed/packaged food products. Drop off box at church.


USED EYEGLASSES The Lions Club collects eyeglasses to send to developing countries. Please bring your old ones to the church office or to Spencer Kingsland. Thanks!
