Many opportunities to share singing, bell-ringing, dancing and other musical talents are available at Wesley UMC.
Jubellation Handbell Choir (Adult) Thurs 6:00 - 7:00 p.m
Adult Sanctuary Choir Thurs 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
The Sanctuary Choir sings on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. worship and on other special occasions. Wesley's Jubellation Handbell Choir performs during worship services here at Wesley as well as at other community events. The Wesley youth choir performs during worship on occasion and during special youth programs.
The adult, youth, and children's dancers perform occasionally during worship and during special programs, often dancing to music provided by a choir, soloist, or the Electric Praise band.
The Wesley music and dance groups are open and welcoming to all! There also are opportunities for special music for both singers and instrumentalists at both morning services. Everyone is welcome to join us as we share our music.
Electric Praise The Electric Praise band is an important component of Wesley's Music Ministry. These talented musicians offer a wide variety of music including contemporary Christian music, gospel music, traditional hymns, spirtuals, as well as secular music from many genres.
Since Electric Praise formed in 2002, many musicians have shared their talents. Currently, the band's regular members are the following: Alan Schulte (Director, vocals & guitar), Richard Lessard (vocals), Cathy Hey (vocals), Pat Trent (vocals), Ed Brand (bass & keyboard), Jason Buck (percussion & guitar), and Ken Gallager (keyboards).
In addition to performing during worship, Electric Praise often extends its music ministry to other churches, fundraising programs, and other community events.
