Adult Sunday School - now Hybrid!
Sun, Oct 2nd 9am - 10am

Wesley United Methodist Church 79 Clinton Street Concord, NH 03301

Join the adult Sunday school class led by Byron Champlin in a study of what many consider to be the last of the Bible’s books to be written. 1 and 2 Peter, 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus offer a glimpse into the issues facing the early-second-century Christian church. Written almost 100 years after the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, and decades after the executions of Paul and Peter, these epistles reflect the evolution of the church as it adapted under its next generation of leaders. Classes begin on Sunday, October 2. No homework or outside reading will be required. Students will take turns reading sections of the epistles in class, followed by group discussions guided by Byron. Adult Sunday school will be a hybrid class. Students may participate in-person in the church parlor or from home using Zoom enhanced by an Owl device. Classes will be held 9-10 a.m. Sunday mornings in the church parlor. The link to participate by Zoom is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89829570522 . This is a recurring Zoom meeting using the same link each Sunday.
