PANDEMIC UPDATE:  Wesley's building is now opening for group meetings and other small gatherings. In-person worship is scheduled to resume September 12.  Until then, Pastor Cheryl leads online worship at 10:30 am Sundays.  Please join us!!  Come, say hello on our live chat, and meet us for a ZOOM social immediately after the service (password: Wesley).

Where   Our building is open for small groups and meetings, and in-person worship is scheduled to resume September 12.  Until then, our church family is gathering for Worship online. Join us!   Our address is 79 Clinton St, Concord NH, on the corner of Clinton & Norwich Sts.  Use Norwich to access easy parking in rear. Please call (603-224-7413) or email (office@concordwumc.org) if you need to access the building. 

Children   In non, pandemic times, Childcare is available beginning at about 10:00 am. On a typical Sunday, the children's message takes place near the beginning of the 10:30 am service.  After this, children are dismissed to Sunday School classes or to remain in worship with parents.  Children may use activity clipboards on the back row.

  • REV. Cheryl L. Meachen



    Rev. Cheryl Meachen is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Boston University School of Theology.   • Christina Catino

    Director of Children and Youth Ministry


    Ms. Christina loves children!  In addition to Wesley, Ms. Christina is a music teacher at Captain Samuel Douglass Academy in Brookline, NH.  Christina lives in Concord with her husband, Marc, and son, Codey.


    Choir Director


    Ben Greene has been involved in church music since the age of 13!  Ben has served in Concord education for many years having been a music teacher, school principal, and Director of Performing Arts. He currently teaches at Bishop Brady High School and directs the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra and the Concord Community Chorus. Ben and his wife, Faith, have 5 children and live in Concord.


    Band Director

    Alan has served as director of Wesley's contemporary band, Electric Praise, since 2005. Alan earned his bachelor's degree in English and communications, and an MFA in nonfiction writing from the University of New Hampshire. He is an Assistant Professor of Composition at Franklin Pierce University. Alan lives in Bedford with his wife, Molly, and their four children.

    Ken has been organist at Wesley since 2000, and has been playing keyboards with Electric Praise since 2008. He has a bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College and works for the state Office of Strategic Initiatives as a GIS and Census data specialist. Ken and his wife, Sharon, live in Concord and have two grown sons, one in Concord and one in Oregon.


    Lay Leader


    Jane is a retired teacher of young children with a BS in Elementary Education. She coordinates the Welcoming and Caring Ministries at Wesley UMC and is responsible for following up with visitors who attend our Sunday worship services. She also coordinates an intentional outreach program that builds on the existing love and care for one another that members of the Wesley congregation exhibit every day.

    Ben grew up in Wesley Church participating in many Youth programs and Missions. In 2018, Ben graduated from Keene State College with a degree in Education. Ben is currently employed at Concord High School.
