Welcome!

At Wesley Church, folks from Concord and surrounding communities enjoy many opportunities for worship, study, fellowship, and service. On Sunday mornings, we gather for Worship and Sunday School. During the summer, there will be "Spiritual Espresso" at 8:30 am and Sanctuary Worship at 10:00 am. Visitors always welcome!

               We welcome all God's children!  Come as you are! 


When  On Sundays, this Summer, worship begins at 10:00 am (8:30 am for the early, Spiritual Espresso service).


Where  Our address is 79 Clinton St, Concord NH.  We're on the corner of Clinton & Norwich Sts - turn onto Norwich to access our easy parking. From the church steps, signs are there to guide you and, on Sunday mornings, greeters will be on hand as well. A printed bulletin will lead you through Worship step-by-step.


Children   Childcare is available during both worship services. On a typical Sunday, our children's message takes place during the second service.  After this, children are dismissed to Sunday School classes or to remain in the service with parents.  Children are welcome to use the activity clipboards available on the back row.


Office Hours The Church Office is open from 9 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Friday.

    Rev. Peter Hey grew up in Hooksett and graduated from the University of New Hampshire  and the Boston University School of Theology. Rev. Hey is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and has led congregations in New England for nearly 30 years.  Pastor Peter and his wife Cathy have two grown children: Joshua lives in Philadelphia, PA, and Rebecca is in graduate school at Boston College.

  • MISTY GRIFFITH

    Misty is a lifelong United Methodist who was deeply influenced by the loving church family of her youth in Belden, Miss. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University and Vanderbilt University School of Law. Misty joined Wesley UMC in 1990 and has served and led in many roles throughout the years. Misty enjoys spending time with her husband, Dodd, and their three children: Cecilia, Susan, and William. 

  • BEN GREENE

    Ben Greene has been involved in church music since the age of 13!  Ben has served in Concord education for many years having been a music teacher, school principal, and Director of Performing Arts. He currently teaches at Bishop Brady High School and directs the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra and the Concord Community Chorus. Ben and his wife, Faith, have 5 children and live in Concord.

  • ALAN SCHULTE

    Contemporary Music Director

    Alan has served as director of Wesley's contemporary band, Electric Praise, since 2005. Alan earned his bachelor's degree in English and communications, and an MFA in nonfiction writing from the University of New Hampshire. He is an Assistant Professor of Composition at Franklin Pierce University. Alan lives in Bedford with his wife, Molly, and their four children.

  • JANE BROADRICK

    Caring Ministries Coordinator                                        jane@concordwumc.org

    Jane, a retired teacher of young children, attended Springfield College and Central Connecticut State College, earning a BS in Elementary Education. Jane is the Coordinator of Welcoming and Caring Ministries and is responsible for overseeing an intentional outreach program that builds on the existing love and care for one another that members of the Wesley congregation exhibit every day. 

  • Marybeth Fairhurst

    Marybeth first attended Wesley United Methodist Church at the age of 4 back in the 1960's. She has worked in education, retail sales, and veterinary medicine. Marybeth enjoys the out-of-doors and has two grown children, Kristin and Steven.
